2020 Sun Transit

The Sun (सूर्य), (Sol), and also known as Ravi (रवि) is the star in the centre of our Solar System. Sun is by far the most vital source of energy for life on Earth. Its diameter is about 1.39 million kilometres or 864,000 miles (1,390,473.22 kilometres), or which is 109 times more than that of Earth. Sun is the support system for all the life forms on our planet, whether it's on earth or in the sea, Sun provides the energy with our planet needs in different forms, Sun has always been placed first. If we talk about the planetary transit, most importantly Sun travels in Aries zodiac (Mesh Rashi) between 14th April until 15th May. Sun is said to be in the superior position at an angle of 10° degree.

Similarly, in Gemini, Taurus, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius, and the Sun planet transits in Pisces from March 15 to April 14. The Sun is in our solar system, a total circle of 365 degrees.

Sun moves around 30° in every month, while the solar system is said to be a circle of total 365° as per Vedic astrology. Hence, we can say that the entire solar system is in total a complete circle at an angle of 365° and this complete transit is completed by the sun in around 1 year or 365 days. The duration of time taken by Sun to complete this travel is by the sun in one year is referred to as a complete year.
