Rituals of Yogini Ekadashi 2026 (Yogini Ekadashi 2026 Vrat)

The puja and Vrat of Yogini Ekadashi will take place from the tenth day of the Hindu calendar till the twelfth day of the Hindu calendar. The followers must think positive and pray for blessings to Lord Vishnu while offering flowers and sweets to the picture or idol of the Lord. Other items like incense stick, lamps, water container and the bell should be kept in a plate to offer to God. Tulsi leaves should be brought on the previous day, so that one does not have to pluck it on the day of Ekadashi which is prohibited. All the devotees offer Tulsi leaves to Lord Vishnu. Other family members should also participate in the puja even if they are not fasting and recite the bhajans and aarti loudly for the family's health and prosperity.

After the puja is completed the Prasad must be disturbed to everyone and it must consist of either sweets or fruits. The followers of the fast have to remember to eat one or maximum two meals without grains and salt. Drinking water frequently should also be avoided.

On the next day, during sunrise, the followers must offer prayer to the Lord, and light lamp, along with distributing prasad (sweets), after which he/she completes his/her fast.
