KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) finally bought this player for Rs. 4.25 Cr. in 7th IPL auctions. In the 2020 IPL auctions for the 13th edition of Vivo IPL, he was bought by the CSK team (Chennai Super Kings) ahead of the 2020 IPL league. Piyush Chawla played 157 matches and 156 innings, bowled 520.4 overs and clinched 150 Wickets.
