The demon kind became furious about his son’s revolt and ordered his own sister Holika to burn him. Holika was blessed by the Lord Brahma that she would not burn in fire anyhow. So, she put the little Prahlad in her lap and sat in the fire. But, due to the immense blessings of the God Vishnu, the fire could not even touch Prahlad and burn Holika absolutely. From that day, people have been celebrating the festival Holi. Holi festival is an unforgettable remembrance of the victory over sin and felony.
