The legends associated with Jyeshtha Purnima suggests that this Purnima i.e. Jyestha Purnima is associated with the heroic women Savitri. She was the perfect example of a pure and divine marital life. As per the legends, she had demanded Lord Yama to release the life of his husband (Satyavan) who had already died. She kept on pleading for three days, Lord Yama was really happy from his prayers and finally released the life of his partner. Water should be offered to the banyan tree along with the raw milk, one should offer Betasha, performing this puja method brings great success in business.

2. Offering raw milk to Lord Shiva brings happiness and prosperity. Along with Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesha and Karthikeya would also be worshipped. This brings peace in the family and harmony among the family members.

4. On Jyestha Purnima one should offer 11 Kodi seeds and then apply turmeric tilak on the Kodi seeds. On the next morning tie, them in a red cloth and place them in your safe box. If you follow this method, then your money will progress in the fourth fold.

5. On the Purnima day, you should drop one teaspoon of milk in a nearby well. By following this method, karma shines and there will be no hindrances in doing any requisite work.
